G-Free Church offers a weekly youth group for teens in 7th through 12th grade that meets every Sunday evening from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at the G-Free Fellowship Hall. At G-Free we know that the teenage years can be a time of excitement, confusion and uncertainty. That's why at our weekly youth group meetings, teens have the chance to build friendships with other teens, talk with supportive adults, and develop a network of resources that will not only help them as teens but becoming adults as well. While doing all of this, teens also learn more about God and strengthening their personal relationship with Him.
G-Free Youth also plan many fun events throughout the year. We attend many Christian concerts with the most recent one being Winter Jam 2010 which featured music by Third Day, Newsong, Newsboys, Sidewalk Prophets, Fireflight and Tenth Avenue North. Other activities such as game nights, snowboarding/tubing at Tussey Mountain and the annual Survivor Event are also a great opportunity for our youth to get out and have some fun! In May, the graduates are honored at an end-of-year banquet held at the Fellowship Hall. In addition, G-Free sends a group of youth and adults each year to the Creation Festival at Agape Farm in Mt. Union, PA.
Regular meetings are going on now until the end of May. No meetings are scheduled on Easter or Mother's Day. For anyone that is interested in Creation it will be held June 30th - July 3rd.

What is Venturing?
It is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are 14 through 20 years of age and have completed the eigth grade. Venturing's purpose is to provide positive experiences to help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.
Why Venturing at G-Free Church? We believe in equipping the young people of the Philipsburg and surrounding areas for not only their future but the future of many generations to come. Venturing brings together adults and young people to create experiences that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Many adults from the G-Free church are involved in Crew 44 because they believe in the leadership potential of our young people.
Crew 44 is chartered by the G-Free Church. Meetings are held the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at the G-Free Fellowship Hall from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM.

Boy Scouting, one of the traditional membership divisions of the BSA, is available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness.
G-Free Church sponsors Boy Scout Troop 44. There are a number of G-Free adults and youth that are involved in the Troop. We believe in helping young men build character and value in themselves and those around them. G-Free church works along side each young man to help them live out the 12 points of the Scout Law.
Troop 44 meets every Tuesday evening from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM at the G-Free Fellowship Hall. It is never too late to join Boy Scouts. Even if you were not in Cub Scouts you can still join.
